Putin permits local firm to buy Russian assets of Caterpillar

MOSCOW, Nov 27 (PRIME) -- Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a ruling that permits LLC PSK - Novye Resheniya (New Solutions) to buy the local assets of industrial and mining equipment producer Caterpillar, the ruling said on Monday on the website for disclosure of legal acts.

“To permit an acquisition by limited liability company PSK - Novye Resheniya of 100% of the shares in the capitals of limited liability companies Caterpillar Tosno and Caterpillar Financial,” the ruling read.

The deal covers Caterpillar’s plant in the Leningrad Region’s city of Tosno. No other permits are necessary to close the deal, the ruling said.
